Back to the main Quilters' Guild website

Elizabeth Ingle

I began quilting eight years ago. Some years earlier I bought an Amish pot holder at the American Quilt Museum in Bath saying that one day I would make a quilt! To date I have made quilts for family and friends in quite a traditional style with a modern twist on occasions. I have been an avid lace maker, knitter, needlepoint and cross stitcher but these days they tend to take a back seat.

In the past I the newsletter and website editor for Region 9 and have now taken on the role of national website editor.

I run a small marketing business based in agriculture. Day to day I am involved with design and this together with my mild obsession with number patterns and geometry have fuelled my enthusiasm for piecing. I am keen to learn new techniques and share ideas so classes and workshops are a must for me. I shall have to retire to make more time for sewing!
